The San Jacinto College South Campus Gallery Student Art and Design Show once again brought together students, faculty, staff, and community members to celebrate student artwork across a wide range of styles and media.
The exhibition, which ran April 6-30, featured traditional painting, photography, digital art, and mixed media works. It concluded with a closing reception and awards ceremony April 30, where winners were selected through student and faculty voting.
“Being part of this art show has been my biggest achievement at San Jac,” said Marshie Leigh Reonico, student artist. “I was surprised and honored to be selected as a faculty choice. My professors have been amazing, and having my work recognized means a lot to me.”
The show drew significant participation, highlighting the diverse talents of the college’s art community.
“The Student Show is one of our best-attended exhibitions each year, giving students the opportunity to present their work in a professional setting and connect with a broader audience,” said Bradly Brown, South Campus gallery curator. “It’s a key step in helping them move from the classroom into real-world creative practice.”
