Congratulations on your achievement. San Jacinto College District recognizes that commencement is a milestone in our graduates' lives and, as such, we strive to ensure that everybody enjoys their experience. Please consult the commencement website for updated information regarding the ceremony details and guest information.
Applying for graduation is very important to both our students and to the college. There is a graduation application deadline date published each semester on the San Jacinto College academic calendar, students who apply for graduation by that date ensure their names will appear in the commencement program. Students may still apply for graduation after the published date up until the last day of class. We encourage students to apply as early as possible.
Students need to apply whether they intend to walk in the commencement ceremony or not. All students who apply for graduation will receive the invitation to RSVP for commencement, regardless of what they indicated on their graduation application. All students are encouraged to attend the commencement ceremony to celebrate the completion of this important milestone in their academic career.
