The San Jacinto College Board of Trustees is now accepting applications for consideration of appointment for Board Position 3, due to the retirement of Marie Flickinger. The appointed trustee will serve until the next regular election on May 6, 2025.

| November 19, 2024 | Applications to fill vacancy will close at 5 p.m. |
| December 2-3, 2024 | Anticipate selected applicants will be interviewed by Board members. |
| December 9, 2024 | Anticipate Board vote on the recommended candidate with 80% affirmative vote of the Board required. Following the vote, the new member will be sworn in and seated to participate in the meeting (given the 80% threshold is met). |
